GIS Day

GIS Day 2008

Ten years of sharing GIS technology and knowledge!

This year, the GIF co-hosted a GIS Day event with the Northern California Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), and the Bay Area Automated Mapping Association (BAAMA).

GIS Day provides an international forum for users of geographic information systems (GIS) technology to demonstrate real-world applications that are making a difference in our society (www.gisday.com).

The event was a great success as students, faculty, and Bay Area professionals viewed engaging presentations and posters, while sharing their ideas and interests. Thanks for making this a great event, and keep an eye out for next year's GIS Day!
